Dangerous Claims
Back story: I was preyed upon and sucked into Arbonne in my early 20’s, and I saw red flags everywhere for the few months I was in it. Thank God, I quickly saw the light and got out.
Anyway…one of the things I witnessed in a gathering at the house of an up-line was the claim that Arbonne supplements could basically cure diabetes. I’m not even kidding, y’all. A lady who was there was talking about her diabetes and the medicine she had to take for it, and how she was having some issues with it. One of the reps began to tell a story about a woman who had started taking their supplements in lieu of her diabetes medication, and that her diabetes basically went away and she was now back to good health again. The rep then began encouraging the lady to stop taking her diabetes medicine and to try their supplements instead. Others were chiming in too, all actively encouraging her to do it. They were literally telling her to stop taking her very necessary medication, and to take non-diabetes-specific supplements instead. I don’t know if she ever went through with it or not, but I really hope she didn’t. These reps are out there playing a dangerous game by encouraging this kind of thing. Not just Arbonne, but all of them. Claims like this could literally leave people hurt or dead, and they don’t care. It really is all about sales, no matter who may get hurt in the process. And that whole thing about a “positive and supportive community” is a complete joke too. Do yourselves the biggest favor ever, and steer clear of any MLM’s you may come across.
